Legal support for Participants

The Government has appointed two lawyers to be available to provide advice to complainants, police officers, ex-police officers and police associates involved in the Commission of Inquiry into Police Conduct.

The lawyers will be available to address concerns participants feel unable to raise with the Counsel assisting the Commission or other Commission staff. At this stage, the lawyers will not appear before the Commission.

Mrs Marlo Greenhough will be available to women or men who have made a complaint about Police handling of an investigation into sexual assault by Police or Police Associates.

Mr Bruce Corkill will be available to police officers, ex-police officers and police associates about whom complaints have been made regarding Police investigations into allegations of sexual assault by Police or Police Associates.
